Individuals vs. Companies in Cybersecurity

How we approach cybersecurity depends on our roles in the digital world. A lot of that depends on whether we use the internet for ourselves or for a company. There are plenty of differences in the actions we should take.

For example, individuals who are hackers versus hackers hired by companies have different concerns in their work. Individuals who need to defend themselves online would be targeted by different types of attackers than companies. These plus many other factors determine what people should do for security.

In this course we will talk about why security is important for businesses as well as individuals. We will also briefly talk about the actions that different people might take, as well as what you as an individual should do to keep yourself safe online!
